Presenters

Description

Why should students consider pursuing a full degree in Europe? In this conversation, an expert on EU higher education examines the advantages of this pathway, the types of students most likely to benefit, and the key differences between U.S. and European systems. Designed for IECs, school counselors, military advisors, and nonprofit-based college access professionals, this discussion offers practical guidance for recognizing when Europe may be a strong option for a student.

Guest: Denise Cope

Denise Cope has 20+years of international educational experience.  I have lived & worked in Morocco, France, Japan, and Turkey.  I was Director of International Education at the University of Denver and sent 4,000 students to about 150 unis around the world.  I understand finances abroad, disability support per country/university, how academics are structured across Europe, and how admissions processes per country/university function.  I currently help US and dual nationals (with US credentials or IB) do their degree abroad, mainly in Europe.  I am currently finalizing my B2 certification in the French language.
