AP results are out, and campuses are getting closer to opening. We will take a mid-summer check in on the Admissions news. The second topic is on Initial Consultations. You never get a second chance to make a first impression. In any service category, the most crucial and yet hardest meeting is the Initial consultation. What do I cover? How long should it be? The amount of frustration with the testing companies was very evident in our Friday Forum. Overwhelmingly- when asked to nominate a winner for the Head in the Sand award, the answer was "ACT", "SAT", or both!  We all know to the solution to this- have all colleges go test optional!
