We all have hidden biases (both favorable and unfavorable) that influence our behavior. How do we become aware of our biases? How can we show respect to the students/families from diverse cultures that we serve? Cyndy has invited Kazue McGregor to teach us more about Cultural Competency. Cultural competency is the ability to effectively deliver services to meet our client’s social, cultural, and sometimes linguistic needs and show families that you truly care.
